New rumors suggest Apple’s next MacBook will come in a variety of fun colors, comparable to what Apple revealed with the 2021 iMac.

Supposedly, the new MacBook will feature similar colors to the iMac G3, which initially came out in 1998. Not only that, but the new MacBook could even be much thinner than current models.

Right now, we’re not exactly sure as to which MacBook model Apple’s working on, but leaker Jon Prosser said that his source implied Apple would feature colors for average consumers, which could mean that it’s a new “MacBook” or MacBook Air, rather than a Pro model.

Additionally, Prosser mentioned that one of the new colors for the MacBook would be blue.

Even though Jon Prosser has been wrong in the past, more noticeably with the Apple March event that didn’t happen, he was right about Apple bringing new colors to the 2021 iMac.

Other rumors state that Apple’s working on not one, but two MacBook Pro models. These models will come in 14 and 16 inches, and we’re also expecting to see a brand new M2 chip from Apple.

It’s possible that the MacBook model Prosser mentioned was this new MacBook Pro since other rumors say that we won’t see an updated MacBook Air until 2022, which will feature a new mini-LED display.
