Night Vision For Your iPhone 6?

Engineers at MSM Labs have designed a case for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus that offers truly legitimate night vision for your iPhone. While there are several apps that claim to do the same thing, they simply use software tricks to boost low light conditions. The NVC case contains a true night vision camera built into the back.

With eight infrared LEDs on the back and a 5-megapixel camera, the Kickstarter-based case can illuminate objects up to 30 feet away to view objects in complete and total darkness. The NVC case is powered by its own separate battery, which is said to provide two to four hours per charge, and can even be used to charge the phone itself. The case also offers a microSD card slot, allowing users to store photos and video they take within the case

One of our favorite features of the NVC case is that, because it utilizes its own camera and battery, it can be removed from the phone and used separately (perhaps as a security monitor or to watch a sleeping baby), connecting to the phone via Wi-Fi. The NVC case is currently being funded on Kickstarter and is expected to ship in May of 2015.
