It’s that time of the year again – time to head to your local electronics retailer to snag a killer deal on a 70” 4K television, because the Super Bowl is upon us. This Sunday, February 5th, at 6:30PM ET, the New England Patriots will take on the Atlanta Falcons at Super Bowl LI in Houston, TX.

This year’s Super Bowl will either see the Tom Brady and Bill Belichick duo snag their fifth Super Bowl rings, or the Atlanta Falcons take home their first Vince Lombardi trophy. If you’re one of the millions of cord-cutters out there itching to watch the big game, but don’t have a cable subscription, you’re in luck – there are several ways to catch the Super Bowl on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV.

Fox Sports Go for iPad, Mac, and Apple TV

Football fans looking to stream Super Bowl LI on their iPads, Macs, or Apple TVs are in luck – there are plenty of options available. Fox Sports is streaming the game for free (commercials included) on Fox Go.

The good news is that, unlike usual streaming from the Fox Sports Go app, no cable subscription is required. The bad news is that the Fox Sports Go stream isn’t available for users on the iPhone (or Android devices).

NFL Mobile for iPhone Users on Verizon

Users looking to stream the game via their iPhones have significantly less options. Due to an exclusive deal with Verizon, only Verizon Wireless iPhone users will be able to stream the game on their phones. Verizon Wireless customers can stream the game via the NFL app.

Users who aren’t Verizon customers will be forced to watch via the Fox Sports stream on an iPad, Mac, or Apple TV – which is, let’s be honest, a much better option than watching it on a 5” screen.

Digital Antenna

One last option for those without a cable subscription is to purchase a good digital antenna to watch the over-the-air broadcast. For inexperienced cord-cutters, digital antennas are actually a pretty solid option for anyone living remotely close to a metro area. A good digital antenna will usually offer users free viewing of CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox, The CW, PBS, Telemundo, and more in full, uncompressed HD.

The Wirecutter recommends this indoor antenna for $50, or this budget option for $10. There are plenty of great options out there, both indoor and outdoor, that can be shipped to your house by kickoff.

If you procrastinators are reading this Sunday morning, scrambling to get a hold of an antenna, you can even create your own (which tend to work surprisingly well) using household items. There are plenty of tutorials available online, even a website, DIY TV Antennas, dedicated to building your own for less than $10.
