How to Get Apple Fitness+ for Free

Apple Fitness+, the company’s guided workout service for the Apple Watch, is now available. If you want to check it out, you can save some cash by heading over to Best Buy, which is offering three free months of service.

To encourage users to try out Fitness +, Apple is offering a free three-month trial when you purchase a new Apple Watch. Best Buy is adding an extra three free months bringing the free trial up to a whopping six months.

This six-month trial is available to all Apple Watch owners who purchased an Apple Watch from Best Buy since September 15, 2020.

Best Buy may be rewarding customers who purchased a new Apple Watch, but they did not forget the existing Apple Watch owners.

Apple Watch users who owned a qualifying Apple Watch before September 15, 2020, are eligible for a free two-month trial.

Watch owners can head over to Best Buy’s website and purchase the free trial. You will need a Best Buy account to redeem this free offer.

After the free purchase is completed, the customer will receive an email with instructions on how to redeem the promotion.

How to Get Started with Apple Fitness+

Before you can use Fitness Plus, you have to upgrade to the latest version of iOS. Fitness Plus was included in iOS 14.3, which was released on December 14.

iPad users will need to download the Fitness+ app for the iPad, but the app will be installed automatically on the Apple TV. You also can find it on the new Fitness Plus tab within the Fitness app on the iPhone.

Apple Fitness Plus costs $9.99/month after the free two-month Best Buy trial.
