For those willing to wait for Apple’s newest iPhone models, Black Friday almost always brings a few good promos from the big three carriers, and this year is no exception.

While you won’t find too many discounts on the iPhone 15 hardware — it’s last year’s models that get the best deals — AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon are all offering up some other bonuses to sweeten the pot if you haven’t yet pulled the trigger on an iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Pro upgrade.

AT&T

AT&T customers — and those willing to switch — can grab an iPhone 15 Pro for $0 a month or an iPhone 15 Pro Max for as little as $5.56 per month with an eligible trade-in. This comes in the form of up to $1,000 in bill credits when trading in a smartphone with a trade-in value of $230 or more, but you can still get up to $830 in bill credits with a trade-in value of $130–$229 or $350 in bill credits with a phone that has a trade-in value as low as $35, which should cover quite a few older models. The middle $830 bill-credit tier will also reduce the price of the standard iPhone 15 down to $0 monthly.

If you’re willing to opt for a 2022-era iPhone, AT&T has the iPhone 14 starting at $5/month or the iPhone 14 Pro at $15/month with no trade-in required. The 2022 third-generation iPhone SE can also be had for as little as $0.99/month under the same terms.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile’s deals are similar, although you can do even better if you have a whole family that’s ready to upgrade to the iPhone 15 generation.

Trade in any iPhone 11 or newer, and you can get an iPhone 15 for free in the form of $830 in bill credits. Or, if you’re switching over from Android, you can get the same with the trade-in of a Samsung Galaxy S9, Note 9, Z Fold, or a Google Pixel 7, 7 Pro, or 7a; newer models in those families also naturally qualify.

The best part is that you can do this for everyone in your family when signing up for a new plan, which is being offered today at only $25/month per line for four lines.

If you’re flying solo, you can go for an iPhone 15 Pro for free with the trade-in of a qualifying device with a trade-in value of at least $1,000, such as an iPhone 11 Pro or newer Pro model. Again, this is done in the form of bill credits, and in this case, it’s only available if you’re on the Go5G Next or Go5G Plus plans or willing to switch to them. However, for Black Friday, these plans are discounted to as low as $46.25/month for four lines on Go5G Plus.

Verizon

Verizon is taking a different tack this year. In addition to discounting iPhone 15 models with an eligible trade-in, it’s also throwing in some bonus gifts for those who trade in any model of an old iPhone. “Any iPhone. Any condition. Guaranteed,” the carrier says.

You’ll have to sign up for Verizon’s Unlimited Ultimate plan to qualify, but in addition to a free 128GB iPhone 15 Pro, the carrier will also throw in an Apple Watch SE and an iPad.

The Unlimited Ultimate plan will set you back $90/month for a single line, although that drops to $65/month per line if you opt for four lines. However, it also includes an Apple One Family Plan bundle. If you’d rather opt for a lower-tiered plan, you can still get $830 of the new iPhone 15 lineup with any iPhone trade-in.

A bundle of goodies worth $1,700 and Verizon’s willingness to extend this to any iPhone in any condition makes this the best trade-in deal available from any of the three carriers. However, there’s a catch: it’s only available when activating a new line (although existing customers qualify if they add a line). The free Apple Watch and iPad also come with strings attached in that you’ll have to pay for a service plan for those devices as well.
