101 Greatest iOS 9 Tips and Tricks for iPhone and iPad

This is another great Accessibility feature that Apple has baked into iOS. If the standard, default font in apps — such as Mail, Notes, Messages, Safari, and any other iOS system apps — is too small, you can go in and enlarge it to a considerable extent.

To increase the font size on your iPhone or iPad, simply go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Larger Text, and switch the toggle to On. You can then fool around with the slider a bit to determine a size that’s comfortable for you. **Keep in mind: enabling Larger Text will only enlarge the text within Apple’s system apps, and not 3rd party apps downloaded from the App Store.
