According to Apple’s official system status page, which was updated early Monday morning, the company’s website will apparently be undergoing maintenance between the hours of 3:00 am and 8:30 am on Tuesday, March 21st — fueling speculation that at least some of those exciting new products could be posted to the online store within that timeframe.

Although this news should be taken with an extremely large grain of salt until we learn more tomorrow morning, it could very well indicate that the company plans to update any of several different products that have been rumored for a refresh in recent weeks — including as many as four iPad models, a 128 GB iPhone SE, and potentially even a ‘Product(RED)’ iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

While there’s plenty of room to speculate about what the Cupertino-company has in store for tomorrow morning, it’s interesting to consider, for starters, that 8:30 am Pacific Standard Time is the usual time that Apple issues press releases — or major announcements, alternatively. So whatever new products are coming tomorrow, if indeed they are coming, will more than likely be announced via an official press release — as opposed to an official product-unveiling event, such as the company held last year on March 21st.

Additionally, whenever Cupertino plans to launch new products, it has historically taken its website down for maintenance — often lasting several hours in the early morning — during which product landing pages, purchasing options, and other data is updated.

The surprise announcement also comes just a week or so after initial reports had conflicted, to an extent, in regards to when Apple would be releasing its updated 9.7-, 10.5-, and 12.9-inch iPad models, a 128 GB iPhone SE refresh, and potentially more. One of those reports, which was spearheaded by the popular Japanese blog, Macotokara, speculated that a revamped 9.7-inch ‘iPad Pro 2’ could be launched as early as March 31st. While other reports, respectively, had previously pegged the entire trifecta of iPad models to be unveiled at a special event held either by the end of March, or as late as Tuesday April 4th.

Certainly to add fuel to the fire of new products arriving tomorrow morning, is a report published by MacRumors late last week, citing “reliable supply-chain sources,” who indicated that Cupertino could launch its new iPad models as early as the end of this month without holding an official ‘special event’ — meaning, in other words, they would be announced via a press release.

Stay tuned with us tomorrow for the official revelation about what’s in store for us. And be sure to let us know which products you’re most excited for in the comments below.
