Sometimes leaks don’t go as planned.

Today I want to tell you about a funny situation that happened just recently. Four days ago, I tweeted that “stuff was coming soon.”

My original plan was to use that tweet to tease what would happen the day after that. I was going to leak that Apple would soon file three new Macs in the Eurasian database: The M1 Pro/M1 Max Mac mini, the M2 MacBook Pro, and the M1 Pro/M1 Max iMac Pro.

The problem with this is that Apple did so the same day I planned to tweet about it, so my teaser ended up being pointless. I know these things happen, so I didn’t get angry; instead, I laughed at it. The next time I might not tease anything and post what I know in the first place..

But, there is something good about this; we now know our source in this field is good. And I have more information from him, so here is the exclusive.

According to this new source, even if Apple filed the iMac Pro in the Eurasian database, shipments won’t start until mid-May. This may seem like a mere piece of information with no relevance, but it isn’t.

iMac Pro May Be Unveiled at WWDC

I believe that helps confirm that Apple will release the M1 Pro/M1 Max iMac Pro during their Worldwide Developers Conference (if nothing goes wrong). There were some issues with its display production, and Apple had to push back its release, which was initially planned for the March 8 event.

I think the WWDC is a better event to release this Mac. This will be a computer designed specifically for professionals, and, to my eyes, the Worldwide Developers Conference is way more focused on professionals than a regular March or September event.

It will be costly, but it will be worth every penny.

I wouldn’t expect any more hardware during that conference. As usual, Apple will launch its new operating systems during this event.

Let me know what you think about it in the comments. I hope you found this article helpful. As always, have a nice day.
