Apple “Nostradamus” Ming-Chi Kuo is back with new predictions for Apple’s upcoming, refreshed iPhone lineup coming later this year.

Luckily for consumers, Kuo stated in his investor note (obtained by 9to5Mac) that 2018’s iPhones will be priced more aggressively. Kuo mentions that the smartphone market is becoming saturated, and reiterates the “concern over the negative impact of a higher price.” He also notes that Apple is reaping the benefits of more affordable components and yield improvements.

Building on and corroborating previous rumors, we can expect Apple to launch three new iPhones this year.

All three new iPhones will reportedly feature True Depth camera systems with Face ID user authentication and edge-to-edge displays.

Kuo’s pricing predictions can be found below.

When Will the New iPhones Be Released?

Ming-Chi Kuo predicts Apple will follow suit with previous years, and will most likely announce all three new iPhone models at its annual September event.

Consumers should be able to purchase Apple’s new iPhones later in September.

Ming-Chi Kuo is a historically accurate predictor of Apple’s plans. Kuo recently left his position at KGI Securities, worrying Apple fans that he would discontinue divulging the company’s secret plans in the process. His latest research note hints that his renowned Apple predictions won’t stop abruptly, and will continue keeping Apple insiders in the loop for the foreseeable future.
