iPhone 13 Leaks Hint at a Smaller Notch and a New Camera Layout

Well-known leaker Sonny Dickson got his hands on a small, but significant amount of information about the iPhone 13.

More often correct than wrong, Dickson showcased four possible iPhone 13 dummies, several iPhone 13 case renders, and a dummy case.

These leaked items give a possible glimpse into Apple’s next-generation iPhone 13.

Smaller Notch?

All of the case renders for the iPhone 13 leaked by Dickson show a smaller notch.

For years, rumors suggested Apple is working on a smaller notch, but this feature has not yet made its way into the iPhone.

Maybe this will be the year that Apple will finally shrink the notch.

New Camera Placement

Some of the renders and the dummy iPhone 13 models suggest Apple may move the camera modules in the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 mini.

Instead of the vertical arrangement in the iPhone 12, these standard iPhone 13 models may sport a diagonal layout.

The reason for this change in the layout is not known, but it may have something to do with Apple’s LiDAR sensor. Rumors claim Apple may roll out this AR camera module across all of its iPhone 13 models.

Larger iPhone 13 Max

Based on Dickson’s leaked dummies, the iPhone 13 Pro Max may be slightly larger than the iPhone 12 Max. Previous leaks hinted that the iPhone 13 may be somewhat larger than the iPhone 12 as well.
