The MacBook Air has been called the most universally useful laptop you can buy, and with good reason; the 11-unch Air is extremely fast and runs longer than previous models. This Black Friday you can get the 11.6 version for only $779 (usually $899). The 13-inch is also discounted by at least $100 as well at Best Buy.



2. 15-inch HP Envy ($499 at Best Buy)




The Envy lines of laptops from HP are often overlooked when it comes to computer choices. However, these laptops have nice mainstream components and a touch screen. For under $500, you ca get a 15- inch mid-sized Envy at Best Buy. Costco will has have an upgraded version for $650, which is still $150 less than the usual price.

3.Dell Inspiron 15R ($549 at Walmart.com)



The Dell Inspiron line is a dependable laptop and usually a good value for the price. The Walmart online- only deal is for a decent performance and design with an excellent battery life. However, this deal is only while supplies last so make sure to order quickly. Staples will also have essentially the same system for the same price.

4. Microsoft Surface 2 ($299 at Best Buy)




The Microsoft Surface 2 us great for getting work done and has a sturdy build with high quality cameras. This laptop has Windows RT 8.1 is easier to use than before with fantastic features. The Microsoft Surface 2 Is premium laptop for only $229 at Best Buy, and is a great option for travel. Microsoft Office is included, but the keyboard is sold separately.

5. Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro ($999 at Best Buy)



This is a higher-end configuration of the Yoga 2 Pro. Although this laptop is a year old, but has a powerful Core i7 processor and an amazing HD display. It’s also a hybrid that can fold down into a kiosk or tablet for only $998 at Best Buy.
