‘Survey Says… Game On!’ Family Feud and More Hit Apple Arcade

As usual, Apple Arcade is debuting several new titles for next month’s gaming lineup. While it announced July’s roster of new games earlier this month, the first actually sneaks in today to wrap up June, while the rest of the lineup officially arrives on Thursday, July 2.
It’s not clear why that split exists, but Family Feud Pocket is available now, providing an authentic, licensed trivia experience for Apple Arcade. It’s even hosted by Steve Harvey.
Unlike last year’s Jeopardy! Daily, Family Feud Pocket isn’t just a static wall of game boards and clues. It features an animated set, complete with contestants and a floating cartoon head avatar of Steve Harvey himself that replicates “pure Steve energy on all your Apple devices.” The game provides multiple modes, from classic TV segments to exclusive originals, with solo play, and local or online multiplayer.
The rest of the upcoming titles are new additions to Apple Arcade, but not the App Store itself. These are App Store Greats, which takes popular standalone App Store games and turns them into “plus” versions where Apple Arcade subscribers can enjoy them without the in-app purchases and ads that often plagued the originals.
That alone makes these games worth a closer look, since you can enjoy them without being distracted by all the “freemium” cruft.
- Dungeon Clawler+ is an interesting fusion of a strategic roguelike deckbuilder with a claw machine that gives it an extra dose of whimsical unpredictability. You’ll need to build a unique deck by fighting enemies as you grab weapons and other items from the claw machine in real-time, all while traversing procedurally generated dungeons. The game offers four difficulty modes, plus an endless mode that will let you venture into a bottomless dungeon.
- Creatures of the Deep+ takes you fishing in a world of “ancient secrets, lost monsters, and mysterious treasures.” It’s a unique take on fishing adventures that provides unique locations, over 600 creatures to catch, and tons of hidden gems.
- Pocket City 2+ is a city-builder with a twist. You don’t just get to lay down roads, zones, and buildings — you can also drop your avatar into the world and become the on-the-ground Mayor of your creation, interacting with it in unique ways from building your own mansion and adopting a pet to paragliding, street racing, playing basketball, or even stealing cars.
- Draw It+ provides a Pictionary-style “quick-thinking drawing challenge” where you’re racing the clock to doodle or sketch words on the screen and score as many points as possible before the time runs out.
The new entries join four other new titles from this month, including arcade-style soccer game Mini Football Legends, virtual pet studio My Talking Tom 2+, coffee empire-builder Coffee Inc 2+, and FreeCell Solitaire: Card Game+.
Available as a standalone subscription for $6.99 per month, Apple Arcade provides access to over 200 games for a family of up to six people — all with no ads, in-app purchases, or other hidden costs. It’s also included in all Apple One bundles, where it can be combined with an Apple Music individual subscription, Apple TV, and 50 GB of iCloud+ storage for $19.95 per month, or an Apple Music family plan and 200 GB of storage for $25.95 per month.
