It’s official! Apple’s first wearable smartwatch will begin shipping in April. The CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, announced during a call with analysts that the development for Apple Watch is right on schedule. The lowest-end Apple Watch will cost around $349.

The Apple Watch is the first major product category since the iPad in 2010.  It is also the first new push by the company under Cook’s management. Cook believes that the Apple Watch will do very well and that the number of developers making apps for the Apple Watch is impressive.

Although Apple has given a release date for the new smartwatch, it hasn’t provided more information about pricing and other features. For now, all we know is that Apple Watch has more models than previous products with two sizes, three different collections, and five different bands.
