Apple and Major League Baseball (MLB) have announced the Friday Night Baseball game schedule for September. Apple TV+ subscribers can enjoy a doubleheader of professional baseball action every Friday during the 2024 regular season. Fans located in 60 countries around the globe can enjoy a pair of marquee matchups with no local broadcast restrictions.

The September doubleheader roster includes games with the Minnesota Twins, the Kansas City Royals, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Atlanta Braves, the Boston Red Sox, the New York Yankees, the Baltimore Orioles, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the New York Mets, all of which are still in the middle of the pennant race.

The Friday Night Baseball announcer booths include well-known broadcasting talent, including Wayne Randazzo (play-by-play), Dontrelle Willis (analyst), Heidi Watney (sideline reporter), Alex Faust (play-by-play), Ryan Spilborghs (analyst), and Tricia Whitaker (sideline reporter). In addition to all of the above on-air talent, former major league umpires Ted Barrett, Brian Gorman, and Dale Scott will be on hand to cover the game’s rules and explain the calls each week. 

Live pregame coverage each week is hosted by Lauren Gardner, along with former MLB player Xavier Scruggs and baseball journalist Russell Dorsey. 

Fans can also follow their favorite MLB teams, including full team stats and scores in the Apple Sports app. The free iPhone app allows sports fans to access real-time stats, scores, and more. 

Baseball fans in the United States can also enjoy the MLB Big Inning whip-around show featuring live look-ins and in-game highlights every weeknight. Other MLB content on Apple TV+ includes Countdown to First Pitch, MLB Daily Recap, and MLB This Week. Condensed game recaps will be available after the completion of the Friday Night Baseball doubleheaders each week.

Apple News readers can follow their favorite teams in the MLB Feed in the app while also watching personalized MLB highlights in the News app. Meanwhile, fans can also enjoy official playlists in Apple Music, featuring the walk-up songs from each week’s teams, as well as a collection of classic baseball-related songs.

Friday Night Baseball is available on the Apple TV app, which is preinstalled on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro devices, or online at the tv.apple.com website. The Apple TV app is also available on several smart TVs, including Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Sony, TCL, VIZIO, and others. Amazon Fire TV and Roku device owners can also enjoy the doubleheaders. The app is also available for PlayStation and Xbox gaming consoles, Chromecast with Google TV, and select set-top boxes.
