Amidst an onslaught of criticism over what appeared to be the company’s price gouging of its hot new OLED Touch Bar-equipped MacBook Pro, Apple in early November launched a storewide sale on most USB C-compatible cables, accessories, and peripherals — in what was clearly an attempt to ease tensions among its loyal customers, who perhaps felt disaffected in light of the company’s transition to USB C.

While the original sale, which saw discounts ranging from 20% to as much as 40% on select Apple-branded and 3rd party accessories, was slated to last only until January of 2017, it was reported just this morning that the Silicon Valley tech-giant will actually be extending the sale. Apple will offer the same, deep discounts, on the same products, until March 31, 2017. Original pricing will then resume on April 1, 2017.

“We recognize that many users, especially pros, rely on legacy connectors to get work done today and they face a transition,” the company said in a statement about the initial price cut. “We want to help them move to the latest technology and peripherals, as well as accelerate the growth of this new ecosystem.”

As we mentioned, the sale covers a majority (but not all, unfortunately) of Apple’s USB-C type cables, connected accessories, and peripherals. To browse the full inventory of current offerings, feel free to check out Apple’s website.

You can easily score some pretty sweet deals on the essentials, such as Belkin’s USB-C to USB-C charging cable, which was originally priced at $29, and is currently being offered for just $22. But, by far the best deal you can get, if you’re really looking to take advantage of this sale, is the current, promotional discount applied to Apple’s super-slick new LG-manufactured UltraFine 5K LED display. Customers can currently pick one of these advanced, $1,299 monitors for $974. Of course, while you won’t be able to just waltz right into your local Apple Store and walk out with one today, the company did announce that it would begin accepting orders for its next-generation, 27-inch 5K display earlier this month — the first orders of which are expected to start shipping to customers by December 27 or 28. Additionally, select in-store availability of Apple’s new 27-incher will begin on the 29th of December, according to AppleInsider.
