Apple Announces Exclusive USHER Content Ahead of Super Bowl LVIII

In January, Apple began a countdown to Super Bowl LVIII with a new series of Fitness+ workouts. Now it’s getting ready for the big game with “a rich collection of exclusive content” from this year’s Halftime Show’s headliner.

Apple made headlines last year when Apple Music sponsored its first Super Bowl Halftime Show ever, featuring Rihanna, and it’s back for a big encore for Super Bowl LVIII with USHER, the “King of R&B” and one of the all-time top music artists.

However, we’ll be hearing more from USHER than just his live performance at Sunday’s Halftime Show. In a newsroom announcement today, Apple shared how the week leading up to Super Bowl LVIII will feature a lineup of exclusive content from the best-selling artist, from Spatial Audio albums and curated playlists to dedicated Apple Music Radio programming and an interview at the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show press conference.

In addition to USHER’s complete studio album discography in Spatial Audio, Apple Music is also featuring My Road to Halftime, a collection of songs curated by USHER himself that not only features his own hits but also includes tracks from other artists that inspire and motivate him as he gets ready for his legendary show. USHER’s Road to Halftime collection will also have a collection of playlists curated by NFL players such as Travis Kelce, Stefon Diggs, Davante Adams, Dak Prescott, Jalen Hurts, and Damar Hamlin, plus playlists featuring the top songs that each NFL team listens to when gearing up for a game.

This Thursday, February 8, at 10 a.m. PT, USHER will also be interviewed during the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show press conference by Apple Music Radio’s Nadeska Alexis. The interview will be live-streamed on Apple Music as well as TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, and the NFL Network.

As we shared last month, Apple kicked off 2024 with a new set of Apple Fitness+ workouts, including an Artist Spotlight Series featuring previous Super Bowl Halftime Show stars, including Rihanna, Britney Spears, and U2. That concludes this week with today’s Artist Spotlight workouts backed by music by USHER.

Last month, Apple Music and USHER also shared a first-look trailer of what we can expect from Sunday’s Halftime Show.

Apple also has several other bonuses in store for Apple fans:

1. USHER’s producer and hip-hop icon Jermaine Dupri is producing a special USHER MegaMix of all the star’s biggest songs in Spatial Audio, to be found only on Apple Music.
2. Vegas’s DJs Tiësto, Gryffin, BLOND:ISH, and A Hundred Drums will also be releasing some exclusive DJ mixes on Saturday night, February 10.
3. The Story of USHER in 20 Songs, an editorial feature available on Apple Music, will provide an in-depth look at the artist’s legendary 30-year career.
4. USHER’s ninth studio album, COMING HOME, is being released on Apple Music this Friday, February 9, and is up for preorder now.
5. Apple Music’s USHER Essentials playlist allows fans to “immerse themselves in three decades of USHER hits across his catalog of boundary-pushing R&B, club ballads, and global bangers.”
6. Apple Music Radio will feature exclusive programming “on the ground and in the stands” from Thursday, February 8, until the day of the Halftime Show on Sunday. This will include several live broadcasts, plus a special five-part series, “The Estelle Show Special: USHER Now & Forever,” launching today that “chronicles USHER’s evolution into a global pop star.”
   

Apple will also be offering up bonus content for those who Shazam USHER’s music this week through the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show event page, which will include custom Apple Watch faces and iPhone wallpapers, along with the Set List and photos from the show.
