Over a decade after it’s launch, Facebook is still one of the most popular and widely used social media platforms on the web.
So how does a company like Facebook stay at the top of the heap, especially in the face of such stiff competition from the likes of Twitter, Instagram, Google+?
Well that’s easy: just introduce a cool new feature or two and you’re set! And they have, over and over again, most recently debuting the option of setting an animated “profile video” in the place of the standard picture on iPhone.
The feature might not be available to every iPhone user just yet, seeing as how it was introduced at the end of September, 2015. Nevertheless, though, we’re going to walk you through the step-by-step process of how to create your own, unique Facebook profile video.
Step 1: Navigate to the Facebook app on your iPhone and open it > once open, select “More” from the bottom-right corner of the menu bar.
(On the next screen, you’ll see your existing profile image. If your account happens to have profile videos as an option, you’ll notice how the camera icon — located on the bottom-right — will switch between either of two camera or video icons.)
