Backdrops for FaceTime

FaceTime has come a long way and has plenty of new features, including reactions, stickers, blurred backgrounds, voicemail, and more. However, it’s still missing one simple feature that almost every other video-calling platform has: Backdrops.
While a blurred background is useful, many of us like to express ourselves with a backdrop, especially when having more casual conversations. Using the advanced features found in the front camera, Apple should have no problem bringing backdrops to FaceTime.
Kicking things up a notch, Apple could create spatial backdrops that mimic a 3D environment as the user moves. This immersive feature would make backdrops come to life and could be a great addition to visionOS.
