With iOS 9’s newly redesigned iPad Keyboard, you now have more power then ever to increase your productivity, by using Apple’s shortcuts toolbar — which will work regardless of whether or not you’re using the on-screen keyboard, or a wireless, Bluetooth keyboard.

When activated, as it is by default, using the on-screen keyboard will reveal several shortcut options — such as cut, copy, and paste, among various app-specific shortcuts in Apple’s dedicated apps — like Notes. Also, by using a Bluetooth keyboard, you’ll still have access to many of these shortcuts — as a thin toolbar will be present at the bottom of your iPad’s screen.
