Apple to Release New Magnetic Accessories for AirTag Next Year
Toggle Dark Mode
Back in April, Apple announced a new device that, to this date, has been one of its most successful products – I’m talking about the AirTag. I own three, and I couldn’t be happier with them. Apple knows AirTags are loved among its customers, which is why the company is working on even more great accessories for them.
However, Apple has always taken advantage of something that it has yet to exploit with AirTags, and that’s magnets.
Yes, Apple is working on something new for AirTags with magnets.
Do you want to know what they are? Well, that’s great to hear, because I have renders.
First of all, I’ve been informed that these will be the color options available: Electric Orange, Sunflower, White, and Deep Navy.
Here’s how they’ll work.
How Do These Accessories Work?
We made these renders so you could see how magnets are placed. For obvious reasons, they won’t be exposed like in the renders, but this way, we can give you a better idea of them.
- There are magnets on top to keep the accessory closed to secure an AirTag.
- They have an array of magnets all around (like a “mini MagSafe”) to stick to ferromagnetic metal surfaces and more.
As far as I know, these AirTag accessories have been approved and should be released anytime in 2022. They will be priced at around $39 and will be made out of silicone.
Let me know what you think about them and if you’d buy one!
