This 4,000mAh Power Bank Snaps to Your iPhone to Charge It without Wires

Portable battery packs are brilliant inventions that are perfect for traveling, camping, or literally any time that you don’t have an outlet nearby.
However, the annoying thing about traditional battery packs is that you’re still required to use a cable to make them work.

But First, What’s an Xvida Charger?
We’ve reviewed quite a few Xvida magnetic wireless chargers in the past, simply because we love the simplicity, beauty, and ease of using their magnetic system of products. But if you’re not familiar with Xvida’s products, there are a few things you should know.
The Xvida wireless charging system takes advantage of magnets in the company’s phone cases and chargers, which snap the two devices together.
Those magnets allow your iPhone to float in mid-air while charging on the company’s Qi wireless charging stands. It’s elegant and just straight-up cool.
Not to mention the cases themselves feel high-quality and have a grippy, rugged design that won’t slip out of your hands.
Now, onto the latest device in Xvida’s lineup, the company’s Wireless Magnetic Power Bank.
Power Bank Review
Xvida’s new power bank is incredibly portable and features the same rugged, rubbery plastic found on Xvida’s magnetic iPhone cases. The Xvida Power Bank feels great to the touch and I’m charmed by how light it is.
But the greatest thing about this Power Bank isn’t its excellent looks or its light weight. It’s the magnetic wireless charging system that allows you to use this mini Power Bank without wires. It simply snaps to the back of your Xvida Magnetic Case for an essentially all-in-one iPhone charging solution. Check out the GIF below to see exactly what I’m talking about.
Basically, it works like Apple’s Smart Battery Case, except you’ll have the option to remove the battery whenever you don’t need it. That’s smart.
When Would I Use This Power Bank?
I was fortunate enough to have an opportunity to travel to Tokyo back in 2018. There, I walked about 10 miles each day and relied on Google Maps to get me where I needed to go. Basically, that meant that I also relied on a portable battery pack to keep my iPhone running throughout the day.
But walking around for miles and miles, carrying a power bank, attached to an iPhone by a long Lightning cable, wasn’t exactly ideal.
A magnetic solution connected to my iPhone that could charge the battery without a wire would’ve saved some hassle and would’ve also freed up my hands while exploring the new city. By taking advantage of wireless charging and ditching the Lightning cable, it’s just one less thing you or I have to think about.
Xvida Power Bank Specs and Details
With a 4,000 mAh battery capacity, Xvida’s Power Bank can charge a dead iPhone 11 Pro (3,046mAh) or iPhone 11 (3,110 mAh) to 100% and still have quite a bit of extra power remaining.
This Power Bank could also, theoretically, charge an iPhone 11 Pro Max (3969mAh) from 0 to 100%, although there wouldn’t be a whole lot of juice remaining to power something else.
The Xvida Wireless Power Bank features a USB-C input for charging the bank itself and a USB-A port for charging other devices like an iPad. And its passthrough charging technology means you can use the power bank like a charging hub, as demonstrated in the GIF below.
How Does It Work?
In the box, you’ll get a one-meter long USB-C to USB-A cable and the power bank itself. My unit didn’t come with any instructions; however, using the device is pretty straightforward. Here’s the rundown.
- Secure the USB-C plug into the USB-C port to charge the power bank.
- Plug any USB-A cable into the USB-A port to charge a wired device.
- Press the large circular button on the power bank to turn it on.
- Place any Qi-compatible device (like AirPods Pro) on the opposite side to charge or snap it to your iPhone’s Xvida magnetic case.
- Double-press the button to turn the power bank off.
Xvida’s Power Bank will show its charge level with a series of four green lights, and one blue one, which indicates that it has a connection and is charging. Press the button at any time to see how much juice you have left.
Any Issues?
Using the Xvida Magnetic Wireless Power Bank with my iPhone 11 Pro did create one small issue. The top of the power bank, when secured to my iPhone, protruded just slightly over the wide-angle camera lens. The power bank won’t obstruct the camera completely, but it will show up in any subsequent wide-angle photos.
If you plan to use this Xvida Power Bank with a smaller iPhone, be aware that you’ll want to remove the battery before taking wide-angle photos. It’s important to note that the other camera lenses weren’t affected at all.

All in all, I continue to be impressed with Xvida’s products. Between their capabilities, ease-of-use, and gorgeous aesthetics, it’s impossible not to recommend these devices, especially at their affordable price points.
