We’re a little over eight-months into the iPhone 6s/6s Plus’ product cycle now, and already we’ve been sorting through the seemingly innumerable rumors about Apple’s forthcoming ‘iPhone 7’ that have been pouring in for a while. And while some of these rumors still persist to conflict with one another, the latter majority of them are all but confirmed to touch down later this year.

Accordingly, we’ve seen our fair share of ‘iPhone 7’ concepts surface in recent months, as well. However, as with all device concepts, there exists an understandable degree of disparity between them as eager iPhone fans take to the web with their artistic, though often far-out, renders of what Apple actually has in store for us.

The latest concept we have to share with you this morning, however, which is brought to us courtesy of YouTuber, ConceptsiPhone, appears to be the most realistic rendition we’ve seen to date because the concept handset just so happens to be largely based on a lot of what we’ve been hearing from the rumor mill thus far.

Check out the video below to see the concept device in all its golden glory for yourself.

If you’ve been following us for a while, you’ll likely notice that the concept design shows the forthcoming ‘iPhone 7’ to be right along the lines of what we’ve been reporting thus far.

For starters, the forthcoming iPhone’s physical design is expected to be relatively unchanged in relation to that of the iPhone 6s/6s Plus. We’re likely to see the same form factor, same display, and, as you can see, the antennas appear to have been redesigned — as was previously speculated, likely to provide a subtler look around back.

Speaking of ‘around back’ — the concept also appears to show us that highly-anticipated dual-lens camera module on the device’s posterior, which, in accordance with recent rumors, has been speculated to be an exclusive feature of the larger, 5.5-inch ‘iPhone 7 Plus’ (or is that the ‘iPhone 7 Pro’).

In terms of hardware connectivity options, the device appears to be equipped with one of Apple’s Smart Connector ports — which is located at the bottom of the handset’s rear. Also on the bottom of the device, where the Lightning port and 3.5mm headset jack are located on the iPhone 6s/6s Plus, the 3.5mm jack is inherently missing, with another speaker occupying its place. This would support earlier rumors that Apple would, indeed, be axing the long-employed industry standard — most likely to slim down the device, perhaps even to as thin as 6.1mm, according to some reports.

It’s certainly interesting to see these concepts in action when they arise. And while this latest mockup is by no means an indication of what’s guaranteed to come, it definitely gives us a perspective that’s a bit more grounded, and therefore, much more likely to be in line with Apple’s actual ‘iPhone 7’ handset. Of course, we won’t know for sure, though, until the device is formally unveiled sometime later this fall.

What do you think about this latest concept? Are you as excited about Apple’s ‘iPhone 7’ as everyone else is? Let us know in the comments!
