Police in the Bay Area are looking for two suspects who broke into an Apple office in Cupertino early Wednesday morning, according to new reports.

Apple employees spotted three individuals trying to break into an Apple office located at Bubb Road and Results Way around 4:20 a.m., according to ABC 7.

Sheriff’s deputies began following the trio’s black BMW on a highway in San Jose, eventually leading to a chase when the suspects ditched their vehicle and fled on foot.

“The second deputy on the scene was actually able to see the suspects flee on foot. So we were able to see which directions the suspects were going,” a Santa Clara Sheriff’s Department spokesperson told ABC 7.

The driver of the BMW — and one of the suspects — was spotted and arrested in a Starbucks around 5 a.m. when he tried to get into the bathroom without a code.

A witness told NBC Bay Area that she was glad the suspect wasn’t able to get into the bathroom, as he could have barricaded himself in there.

Police then set up a perimeter around the Cambrian Park neighborhood of San Jose, going door-to-door in search of the remaining two suspects, according to ABC 7.

Although, around 8 a.m., the manhunt for the remaining suspects was called off. Police are currently interviewing taxi and ride-share drivers to see if they’ve seen anything suspicious, according to NBC.

The trio was allegedly breaking into the Apple building to steal laptops, which were found inside their abandoned BMW, Business Insider reported.

Additionally, the windows to the Apple office were smashed, furthering evidence that the suspects were successfully able to break into the building, according to a tweet by ABC 7’s Matt Keller.

Apple has not offered any comment on the situation.
