It’s been a while now since Apple released an iOS for public consumption. The last iOS to be pushed to the masses was an update to iOS 9.2.1, which came with bug fixes for the ‘error 53’ issue. However, we do know that Apple developers are currently hard at work tuning, patching, and updating to the new iOS 9.3. Today, the company released the fourth beta installment of the operating system to developers.

There are a number of features that will come along with iOS 9.3 to make for a new and improved mobile and tablet experience. One of the features that is causing a lot of excitement is the Night Shift feature. Apple’s new Night Shift feature is designed to help your eyes easily adjust to the display as day turns to night. In iOS 9.3 beta 4, developers have added a redesigned Night Shift mode icon to the Control Center.

9to5Mac also noted that a small star icon now appears next to tracks in Music, though their outright purpose it unknown. Currently, it appears that tracks with this symbol are either singles and/or popular songs.

Other than that, there appear to be no major changes in the fourth beta installment of iOS 9.3. All of the major improvements like Verizon Wi-Fi calling, added Notes security, improved 3D Touch, classroom features, better CarPlay functionality, and more remain the same.

Any developers interested in taking iOS 9.3 beta 4 for a test drive can find the new build in the iOS Developer Resource Center. It has not been released for public testing yet, however.
