Last week, HBO’s new streaming service, HBO Max, hit the scene with a bang. The service will host a plethora of original content as well as Friends, Sesame Street, and so much more. Many users will have to pay $14.99 to get access to this quality service. But some people can get their own subscription to HBO Max, for free, as long as they are AT&T customers.
Many customers will automatically receive access to HBO content, as long as they’re paying for select packages. These include:
- AT&T Fiber.
- AT&T TV, which will provide a free year of HBO Max if the user purchases two years of AT&T TV.
- AT&T Wireless. Unlimited users will get unlimited data, 30GB of hotspot data and HBO Max included with it all.
Users who have received HBO Now or HBO Go in the past as part of their AT&T package will be provided with an upgrade to HBO Max at no additional charge.
Users would receive an update on their devices before being prompted to consent to the change. Upon doing so, users will receive immediate access on their television, computer, or mobile devices.
New subscribers to HBO Max will receive access to a variety of programs, including Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, Westworld and much more. They will also have access to the past projects of Studio Ghibli, The Criterion Collection, Warner Bros and Sesame Street. It will also feature a multitude of classic sitcoms like Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Friends.
