NASA’s new Apple TV app lets you go to space — without ever leaving your couch. The app will allow owners of fourth-generation Apple TVs to view still images, videos of space, and stream video feeds from NASA TV, according to Forbes.

The new app is joining NASA’s iOS version, which has been downloaded over 17 million times. While the app’s content was previously viewable on smaller devices, the perk of the Apple TV version is that viewers can enjoy the beauty of space on a large screen.

Some of the content included in the app include real-time views of Earth from the International Space Station, more than 15,000 still images, and a variety of satellite tracking maps, Forbes wrote.

The app will also let viewers stream NASA TV, which provides live coverage of rocket launches, spacewalks and other NASA missions, according to NASA’s website.

Other nifty features include options to view the real-time location of the ISS and other NASA satellites — so you can head outside and see them orbiting overhead with your own eyes. It also features access to a multitude of space videos on demand.

Also included is the ability to stream Third Rock radio, and view background information on past, current and upcoming NASA missions, Forbes said.

Of course, you can always just queue up some fantastic still images and use them as a mesmerizing backdrop for your next space-themed party.

NASA’s app is currently available as a free download on Apple TV. It is also available — for free — for iOS, Android and Fire OS.
