With Apple’s highly-anticipated, and equally rumored about iPhone SE hot off the presses, eager and expectant users are perhaps a bit disenchanted to have found out that the device looks essentially identical to the company’s iPhone 5 and 5s of yesteryear. However, for those still anticipating an upgrade to the latest and greatest Apple hardware, it’s important to note that the iPhone SE will by no means be the only handset coming to the table in 2016.

As a matter of fact, Apple is almost certain to be launching an ‘iPhone 7’ and ‘iPhone 7 Plus’ later on this fall. And while we don’t know, quite yet, exactly what the forthcoming devices will look like, several concepts have been circulating the web in recent months — and they will likely just keep on coming, one by one, as we progress more and more into the year, slowly but surely approaching that widely-expected fall release date.

Why Verizon Will Now Charge You $20 Just to Upgrade Your iPhone

In the interim, however, we’re beginning to get an even better look at some of the most off-the-wall, even borderline fanatical iPhone 7 concept designs — the latest of which, as you’re about to see for yourself, provides us with vastly differing vantage points from which we can speculate about what the forthcoming handset from Apple will look like.

‘Vision Next’

Take “Vision Next,” for instance — a rendering that depicts Marek Weidlich’s assertion that the iPhone 7 will come not only in one color option, Silver, but also in one size, 4.7-inch, with only two storage capacity options — 64 GB and 256 GB.

For its part, Weidlich’s rendering also appears to show a device, similar to Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Edge, that features an edge-to-edge display, thereby enabling a smaller form factor while still retaining the screen real estate of the current, 4.7-inch iPhone 6s.

Take a look at the video below to see ‘Vision Next’ for yourself!

According to Weidlich’s video commentary, “Nowadays, a mobile phone is considered a fashion accessory, available in several colors and sizes, and people are trying to express their status with it.. I disagree, and that is why I was trying to avoid this idea in my project. My goal was to devise a design language that would be able to stay fresh for several years, and therefore the gap between the release of each iPhone would increase from two to at least four years. Therefore, I see the future in the creation of only one and perfect prototype, which will have the functional period of four years.”

He added, “One size, one color, and refined design and technology, which will dazzle you at first sight.”

‘iPhone 7’ (Based on Rumors)

The second new concept — coming to us courtesy of YouTuber-designer extraordinaire, Geert van Uffelen, is largely based on all we’ve been hearing about the ‘iPhone 7’ thus far. Much to the contrary of Weidlich’s Vision Next, Uffelen’s concept is inclusive of all the snazzy, earth-tone and gold-plated colors and variations we’ve come to know and love, and are more than likely to see in the actual model when it launches.

Uffelen’s concept, much akin to the rumored ‘iPhone 7 Pro’ we’ve been hearing a lot about, also sports a dual-lens camera system around back. Additionally, his design features dual speakers, and, unfortunately, there’s no evidence of a headphone jack anywhere.

Check out the video below to see Uffelen’s masterpiece in all its 3D glory!

Of course, we’re likely to see even more iPhone 7 concepts surface, as we continue to progress, closer and closer, to the device’s almost certain unveiling sometime during the fall quarter.
