Apple has announced its 2015 holiday gift guide, which features devices like the new Apple TV, the iPad Pro, the iPhone 6s, the MacBook, the Apple Watch, and so on.
In fact, more or less everything that Apple has to offer is on the gift guide, with products being split up into six different categories – gaming, photography, music, fitness, learning, and travel.
To use along with the new Apple TV, Apple recommends using the SteelSeries Nimbus controller, which should make gaming a little more comfortable. Users can also use the new Guitar Hero Live with the new Apple TV. Apple also suggests the iPad Air 2 as a gaming device, and for those that might want to download some games for use on the device, an iTunes Gift Card is also suggested. But gaming isn’t just about visuals – it’s also about audio, and when it comes to audio, Apple, of course, suggests Beats headphones. Apart from these things, Apple also suggests the Parrot Bebop Drone, the Sphero BB-8 Droid, and the Parrot MiniDrone Airborne Cargo.
The third category is “music,” and Apple again highlights the Beats Studio headphones. Of course, if users want to play music more publically, they’ll need a speaker, and for this Apple suggests the Beats Pill+, which is a small and lightweight portable speaker. Interestingly enough, Apple also turns to a few third-party products, including the Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker II and the B&O BeoPlay A2, which offers B&O’s True360 sound technology, enabling for accurate audio all around the speaker.
The second-to-last category is Learning, and Apple says that it hopes to help educate people on how to code, explore science, and so on. Apart from the iPad Air 2, the iPod Touch, the Apple TV, and iTunes Gift Cards, Apple suggests the Sphero SPRK, which is a little ball that helps users learn how to code in order to complete missions. Otherwise, users could buy the Osmo Genius Kit, which is a kit that interacts with the iPad and helps users solve problems using creative thinking.
Last, but certainly not least, is the travel category. As would certainly be expected, the Apple Watch takes front and center here, as well as Apple’s customization options for bands. The iPad Mini 4 also features in the list, but perhaps even more interesting is the fact that Apple suggests the Apple TV for travel. Not only is the Apple TV designed to stay in the living room, but if Apple intended for it to be a travel device, it shouldn’t have made the latest Apple TV so much bigger than the previous generation. For listening on the plane, Apple suggests users take along a set of Bose QC25 headphones.
The gift list is certainly packed full of potential goodies. Head over to Apple’s website for more great gift ideas.
