Use This Presentation to Convince Your Parents That You Need a Mac
Now for the important part of the article ? Are you a student who is trying to convince your loving parents you need a new Mac for college? (I suppose high school students could use one too, right? You could use a Mac in high school.) Apple has come to your aid, with a humorous way to convince them how badly you need a Mac, reports MacRumors.
Apple earlier this week shared “The Parent Presentation,” which is a customizable presentation designed to help explain why a Mac is a must-have tool in school. The presentation contains a whopping 81 slides worth of convincing and is available in PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides formats. The template can be downloaded here; all you need to do is fill in your name, pop in your Mom’s favorite photo of yourself with some other important information, and otherwise edit the presentation to your liking.
While the presentation includes numerous humorous reasons to buy a Mac, it also includes several genuine reasons why a Mac is the best bet for back-to-school use, including things like the portability of the MacBook Air.
Earlier this week, Apple shared a YouTube video from comedian Martin Herlihy, who demonstrated to a group of high school students the best way to use the presentation. However, that video has since been set to private.
