Apple is reportedly launching a brand new 12-inch MacBook Air called the “MacBook Stealth.” Recent reports have discussed in detail what the new thin laptop might look like and what that will mean for Apple users.
2014 was a huge year for Apple products, and it seems like they are starting off 2015 in the same manner. Rumors suggest that the new 12-inch MacBook Air is narrower than the 11-inch model that Apple currently sells. Apple has also completely redesigned the laptop and decided to go with a fanless design, which means the USB ports will be exchanged for the newer and smaller USB Type-C port. In addition, the trackpad has also been changed. The trackpad is reportedly slightly taller, nearly touching the bottoms of the keyboard and the frame. Reports also state that the keys on the keyboard are closer together due to the narrower body of the laptop.
The latest rumors indicate that this new MacBook Air will ship mid-2015, while other reports have claimed that the new Air will be nearing production as soon as this month. Check back soon for reports on more details about Apple’s latest computer.
