Apple today uploaded a series of new assets to its iCloud website ahead of its October 13th press event. These images seem to confirm the company’s rumored iPhone 12 lineup. It also hints that Apple may be working on a new Apple TV.

These images were first spotted by the Twitter account @AppleSWUpdates. According to the tweet, Apple uploaded four new icons to its server today, seemingly corroborating its iPhone 12 lineup.

These icons presumably match the iPhone 12 mini, the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 Pro, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

The icons uploaded to iCloud and not very detailed, but 9to5Mac managed to obtain higher-resolution images.

A detailed analysis of the icon images hints at the design changes rumored to be coming to the iPhone 12. When compared to the icons from previous iPhone models, these new iPhone 12 icons appear to have different edges. Apple’s iPhone 12 is long rumored to have a new, square design that borrows heavily from the iPhone 4.

These images also seem to hint that at least one model of the iPhone 12, presumably the iPhone 12 mini, will have a smaller notch at the top of the display. This notch has long been a bone of contention among iPhone owners who don’t like how the notch disrupts the otherwise edge-to-edge display.

Besides the iPhone, Apple also reportedly uploaded icon assets for a not yet known Apple TV model. The asset identifies a new “AppleTV11,1” which is different from the existing Apple TV 4K, which is internally identified as “AppleTV6,1.

This new 11,1 model was spotted in leaked iOS 14 code earlier this year. The icon for this new model looks similar to the Apple TV 4K, suggesting the new device may have the same look and feel as the current model.
