An All-New New MacBook Air
One of the products we were almost sure Apple would release during its March event was the new MacBook Air, which unfortunately didn’t happen.
This new MacBook Air is said to be a big upgrade. Not only will Apple get rid of the typical wedge shape and feature a flatter design, but it’ll also come with a more powerful Apple Silicon chip. Apple might introduce the M2 chip alongside this new MacBook, but we aren’t exactly sure about that.
The new MacBook Air will also come in different colors, much like the 2021 iMac, but the display bezels and the keyboard are going to be white for all models.
And speaking of bezels, the new MacBook Air will probably have thinner bezels and a larger display, and it might even feature a mini-LED display.
There are also rumors that the new MacBook Air might feature more ports, but we aren’t expecting to see USB-A or SD card slots like the 16-inch MacBook Pros.
We aren’t sure as to when Apple might release this new MacBook Air, but it’s possible that the company might release it by the end of the year as it did with the current model.
