The iPhone 14 Lineup
This is pretty much a given at this point, but Apple still has to release the iPhone 14 lineup in 2022 – and sadly, Apple is said to get rid of the iPhone mini this year. The iPhone 12 and 13 mini haven’t been the best sellers over the last couple of years, so Apple’s planning on removing the model from the iPhone 14 lineup.
Instead, the company will feature two “small” 6.1-inch iPhones and two larger 6.7-inch iPhone models – basically, both sizes will have a regular model and a Pro model to match.
Not only that but there are a lot of rumors that Apple might finally get rid of the notch this year too. Instead, the iPhone 14 Pro might feature a hole-punch camera and another cutout for Face ID. Some of the crazier rumors say that Apple might introduce in-display Touch ID, but it’s possible that we won’t see that this year.
Other than that, we expect the usual: A faster A16 Bionic chip, many camera improvements, and a release date somewhere around September of 2022.
