The Apple Watch is the most popular watch available today. The stylish smartwatch dominates the market despite its price tag, which is higher than most of its competition. Now, the company may be poised to capture even more market share with an affordable version of the Apple Watch that the company allegedly has in the works.

Apple is expected to unveil a new full-featured Apple Watch this fall with sleep tracking, a pulse oximeter, and longer battery life.

A new rumor from Apple leaker Komiya suggests Apple has another trick up its sleeve for next spring.

Like Apple’s affordable iPhone SE model, Apple may be working on a low-cost Apple Watch that could debut early next year.

According to Komiya, the Apple Watch SE could feature the S6 processor expected to debut in the upcoming Apple Watch Series 6.

It is thought to replace the Series 3 in Apple’s lineup with a design that is reminiscent of Apple’s older series.

Komiya expects it to ship with an aluminum casing and haptic feedback embedded into the Digital Crown.

It will also feature Apple’s W4 chip for improved wireless connectivity, 16GB of internal storage, and Bluetooth 5.0.

It will be available in at least a 42mm model and a model with cellular connectivity.

It likely won’t debut until sometime early next year so don’t keep your hopes up that you can get one for Christmas this year.

Komiya isn’t the only one who believes Apple is working on an affordable Apple Watch. Early this year, unknown leaker Apple RUMOR (Leaks) claimed Apple is working a low-cost Apple Watch.

Jon Prosser, who is known for his often reliable information, also has said, “a more affordable Apple Watch is on the way.”
