Last month we took a look at several utility cases for iPhone 17 Pro Max series, including a clever modular collection by MOFT that features premium cases with a set of matching MagSafe accessories and lanyards.

This includes the MOVAS Snap Case, which has now taken its place as my favorite “everyday carry” case this year. That’s partly thanks to its soft vegan leather and elegant button coverage, but it was the add-ons that really won me over, particularly the Snap Field Wallet, which can hold up to eight cards and double as a stand.

My only real knock against MOFT’s wallet at the time was its lack of Find My support. While Apple’s first-party MagSafe Wallet technically supports this, it’s not nearly as full-featured as an AirTag-based tracker, as it only logs the location where the wallet was last removed from your iPhone.

Thankfully, unlike many wallet cases, the MOFT Snap field wallet is roomy enough that adding a card-sized tracker — the Eufy SmartTrack in my case — isn’t really a problem. However, it seems that MOFT is addressing this omission by building Find My support into not only its wallet, but the rest of its MagSafe accessories too.

This week the company unveiled new “trackable” versions of its original Snap-on Phone Stand & Wallet, Snap Tripod Wallet, and Snap Field Wallet, all with full support for Apple’s Find My technology built right in so you can track them just like an AirTag.

While that’s excellent news for the Snap Field Wallet, since you’ll no longer have to worry about sacrificing a couple of cards to guarantee you’ll be able to find it, MOFT is also bringing this to its slimmer and highly useful Tripod Wallet. That only has room for a single card, but its main purpose is to unfold and let you prop up your iPhone for selfies, video calls, or group shots.

“As frequent travelers, we know how stressful it can be to lose something you rely on every day,” said Julianna He, Founder and CEO of MOFT. “By integrating Apple’s trusted Find My technology into our signature designs, we’re delivering peace of mind without compromising the slim, thoughtful form people expect from MOFT.”

What’s particularly impressive is that MOFT has taken its Find My support to the next level by incorporating wireless recharging. That’s a leg up on most of the wallet trackers we’ve seen, which often have built-in batteries that require they be replaced or returned to the manufacturer for service once the power runs out. By contrast, MOFT’s accessories promise up to six months of battery life, and can be recharged wirelessly. MOFT hasn’t explained precisely how this will work, but it’s likely to incorporate a small Qi-compatible coil, suggesting you’ll be able to toss it onto any standard wireless charging pad.

Extended Bluetooth range lets you locate the wallets from a distance of up to 40 meters outdoors, and the Find My integration also includes support for audible alerts to help you narrow down the location, featuring a 70dB alarm that can be activated through the Find My app, much like you can do with AirTags.

Although we have yet to get our hands on the new Find My-compatible versions, MOFT tells us that the designs are otherwise identical to the current accessories. More significantly, they’re being sold at the same $49 price, suggesting that the Find My versions will be the only ones going forward.

Still, MOFT doesn’t yet appear to be replacing its entire lineup, which may be a bit disappointing for folks who have already opted for a MOVAS Snap Case in one of the more whimsical colors like Wonder Yellow or Soothing Mist. While the current Tripod and Snap Field Wallets are available in 10 colors that complement those of the Snap Cases, the trackable versions will come in only Misty Cove for now.

The Trackable Snap-on Phone Stand & Wallet will offer a few more options, with Misty Cove joined by Jet Black, Blackberry, and Terracotta. Most of these will also be sold exclusively on MOFT’s website, although the Misty Cove and Jet Black Phone Stand & Wallet will also come to Apple Stores — a significant vote of confidence for MOFT’s Find My implementation.
