iPhone 13 owners are facing a growing number of issues with Apple’s latest hardware and software. iPhone 13 owners have the newest iPhone but their experience running iOS 15 may not be the greatest.

The newest problem involves CarPlay, which is causing music apps to crash when a user tries to play some tunes.

Dozens and dozens of posts Apple’s support forums contain a growing number of complaints from new iPhone 13 owners.

According to the reports, people who attempt to play music from any CarPlay app cause the entire system to crash.

This issue appears to affect only iPhone 13 owners with iOS 15 and is not reported by older iPhone owners who have installed iOS 15. It also is present in both wired and wireless CarPlay systems.

Apple hasn’t provided an official solution to address this issue, but some users claim Apple support said a fix may be coming via a future CarPlay update.

What Can I Do?

In the meantime, iPhone 13 owners have figured out a few solutions via trial and error. Some users find that disabling the equalizer helps solve the problem, while others have zeroed in on the “Late Night” toggle.

Still, others were only able to find a fix when they reset all the network settings on their iPhones, which is a rather drastic fix.
