Google Maps has incorporated Lyft and Gett into its suite of ride-hailing app partners, which already includes Uber, meaning users now have more options to order rides from.

The Google Maps app features a ride-share tab that allows you compare travel times, ETA, and prices between various services, which is more convenient than asking everyone in your group to pull out their phones and check their ride-hailing apps for the best price. Once you enter a destination, you can review the estimated length of the trip will be depending on the mode of transportation along with a range of prices (rather than an exact price).

The ride-sharing tab on the Google Maps app was first added earlier this year in March; since then Google has added 9 ride-sharing partners in over 60 countries. According to The Verge, Google Maps also offers 99Taxis in Brazil, Ola Cabs in India, Hailo in the UK and Spain, and mytaxi in Germany and Spain.

The tab also allows you to view and request various services and features that are specific to a ride-hailing app, meaning you have the option of requesting a Lyft Line ride as opposed to a standard one.

Lyft will be available nationwide through the Google Maps app whereas Gett is exclusive to New York City and the UK.
