Ultimate Ears speakers can now be controlled with your voice.

A new firmware update released today — available as a free download for both iOS and Android — adds voice command functionality to the Ultimate Ears Boom 2 and Megaboom Bluetooth speakers.

The speakers will now be able to respond to Google and Siri voice commands when paired with an iPhone or Android device, according to CNET.

The Boom 2 and Megaboom are designed to withstand conditions that would normally break a phone. Ultimate Ears said that both speakers are designed “to get wet, muddy, covered in snow, and beat up.”

The voice command feature can now help Ultimate Ears’ speakers live up to that motto. With a phone tucked away somewhere safe and away from the elements, listeners will able to choose the next song or playlist with a voice command, according to the company’s website.

There’s a caveat though. You won’t be able to trigger voice-activation mode with just a command. You’ll have to press the Bluetooth button on the speaker for it to be switched into “listening” mode.

The Boom 2 promises at least 15 hours of battery life, while the Megaboom has a battery life of 20 hours. Both speakers are rated waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

The Boom 2 retails for $199, and the Megaboom retails for $299.
