Hi everyone. I know I’ve always leaked Apple stuff, but today I have some inside information from Google that I’d like to share with you! This won’t happen very often and I’ll still be working on Apple leaks every day, so don’t worry. But let me tell you what I know about the Google Pixel Fold.

As you may have guessed, the Pixel Fold is Google’s answer to Samsung and the “Fold” and “Flip” lines. Google is a very important phone maker and it doesn’t want to miss out on the foldable device market, or at least that was the original plan – because according to insider information we received and verified, the Pixel Fold has been postponed indefinitely, and it might even be canceled.

Apparently, Google wants to make sure the phone has many use cases for everyone, rather than just a few that apply to select people. People connected to the matter have confirmed that the company launched the Pixel Tablet for this reason. After all, not everyone is interested in foldable phones. They’re expensive, look a bit fragile, and aren’t what people are used to.

I’m a tech nerd, I like the idea of foldable phones, and I’d buy one if I didn’t prefer iOS over Android. But the average person in their 50s or 60s isn’t going to buy it because people usually run away from things they don’t understand – and I assume Google wants to offer a wider range of products for those who aren’t interested in foldable phones before they launch the Pixel Fold.

The other reason the phone has been delayed is that Google would have to compete against Samsung in a very small niche market with very high costs, something the Korean company has been working on much longer than Google.

But it’s not all bad news, Google wants to launch a very competitive foldable phone. However, If I had to buy a foldable device today, I’d choose Samsung, especially since the company is about to launch the Galaxy Fold 4. I wouldn’t even consider the Google Fold, but if the company is working hard to bring the best foldable phone to market, that would be a different story. So I hope Google’s delay helps us see better competition in the foldable device market, which will ultimately benefit us all.

I hope you found this article helpful. Let me know in the comments below what you think about it. As always, have a fantastic day.
