Black Friday Deals Start Early with Apple Watch and iPad Discounts at Walmart

Black Friday is a little over a month away, but Walmart is already kicking off the holiday shopping season this week with its own Early Access deals drop.

As of midnight on Friday, you can find discounts on a wide range of products from 4K Smart TVs to coffee makers. Walmart is also slashing prices on several Apple products.

Here are some of the best deals you can find on the retailer’s website right now.

Apple Watch Deals

When Apple introduced the new Apple Watch Series 5, it also cut prices on the older Apple Watch Series 3 to just $199. As a result, most third-party retailers seem to be discounting the wearable even more.

While you can find GPS Apple Watch Series 3 models for sub-$200 prices at several online retailers, Walmart’s deal on the product is worth taking a look at.

You can get a 38mm Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) and a $30 portable power bank for just $229. That’s about $70 cheaper than Amazon is offering the watch, and you’re also getting a free external battery with it.

The Series 4, which is slightly newer but discontinued, is also getting marked down at Walmart and other retailers. Walmart is currently selling the 44mm Apple Watch (Cellular + GPS) model for $429. That’s $50 less than you’ll be able to find at other retailers.

iPad Deals

The retailer is also offering great deals on the now-discontinued 9.7-inch iPad from 2018. While Apple doesn’t sell the device anymore, it’s still a very capable and powerful tablet for the price.

You can pick up a 9.7-inch iPad with 128GB of storage for just $299. (That’s only around $20 less than the current model 10.2-inch iPad with just 32GB of storage.)

Keep an Eye on the Deals

Keep in mind that this is just a very early sale. The retail giant will also continue offering great deals throughout the shopping season, both online and in-store.

There’s also a good chance that you’ll see even steeper discounts and price drops on certain categories as we get closer to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. So keep an eye out.
