A lot of people have been asking me about the next iPhone SE’s release date, so I figured the best way to answer them would be to write an article – and as far as I know, production of the iPhone SE 3 is set to start the second week of March. It will take about six weeks, and the phone could start shipping worldwide around the third week of April.

Given that, it’s pretty safe to assume that Apple will unveil the iPhone SE on either April 12th or April 19th.

Earlier this week, I asked my sources about this, and most of them claimed that the spring event where the iPhone SE will be unveiled will be on April 19th, although some retail sources claim that April 12th is the selected date.

My take: Apple is known for delaying product announcements, and especially after what happened with AirPower, the company is playing it safe, and production dates are very tight this time.

It’s clear that this phone will be easy to manufacture since it’s exactly the same as the current iPhone SE, but Apple does not want to take any chances. So if I had to bet, I would say that the event where the new iPhone SE will be unveiled will be held on April 19th.

It will be a virtual event, and invitations should be sent to journalists as usual on April 12th, exactly seven days before the event. Other things you can expect at this event are the redesigned M1 Pro and M1 Max, Mac mini, and a new iPad Air. Thank you for reading this article. I hope you have a great day!
