In addition to the new HomeView, an updated Apple TV 4K, and the HomePod mini 2, Apple has also just unveiled the Apple Home Collection — a new lineup of smart home accessories developed in partnership with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric.

The collection includes video doorbells, outdoor and indoor cameras, thermostats, temperature sensors, and a smart deadbolt door lock, all of which are specifically designed to work with Apple’s new home hub.

The new accessories are designed to be simple to set up, starting with only a single tap on your iPhone. All features are managed via the Apple Home app and Siri, and no separate app or account is required. Each accessory communicates using end-to-end encryption, meaning only authorized users and the people they allow can access their home data.

“Apple Home Collection makes it easy to choose smart home accessories with confidence,” said Matthew Costello, Apple’s vice president of Hardware Engineering. “Working closely with industry leaders LG Electronics and Schneider Electric, we designed every accessory to work seamlessly with Apple Home, so managing your home is simple, reliable, and private.”

Apple says each accessory is made from premium materials with a minimal aesthetic. Every detail was considered, including how the devices mount and how they look and feel alongside Apple products throughout the home.

The new Apple Home Collection includes:

  • LG Video Doorbell ($249.95) — The Video Doorbell has dual cameras, allowing it to capture views of visitors and packages. The front camera boasts a 2.5K resolution, while the bottom camera is HD resolution. Users can switch between the front and bottom camera views seamlessly. It includes a built-in spotlight and a chime that plays through HomeView, HomePod, and HomePod mini.
  • LG Floodlight Cam ($399.95) — The Floodlight Cam sports dual floodlights that automatically activate when motion is detected, while low-light color night vision preserves clarity in darker conditions, allowing users to see a clearer picture of what’s happening outside.
  • LG Outdoor Cam ($299.95) — The Outdoor Cam offers low-light color night vision and can be easily angled, delivering flexible outdoor coverage with simple self-installation.
  • LG Indoor Cam ($199.95) — The Indoor Cam offers a privacy-preserving feature that automatically tilts upward and downward to adjust the view when users check in on the home, tilting back down to stop monitoring once the first member of the household returns. The tilt function works based on geofencing, but can also be controlled in the Home app or manually.
  • LG Smart Deadbolt Lock ($349.95) — The lock uses ultra-wideband (UWB) technology to unlock automatically as you walk up with a compatible iPhone or Apple Watch — no hands required. Unlocking can also be performed via PIN or a hidden backup key slot. It detects whether a door is opened, closed, or has been tampered with. The doorbell and lock also work together seamlessly, letting users see who is at the door and unlock it right from the same view.
  • LG Thermostat ($199.95) — The thermostat supports Adaptive Temperature, allowing users in the US with a compatible utility plan to automatically schedule heating and cooling during lower-cost periods. The thermostat can read temperature and humidity across multiple rooms using standalone temperature and humidity sensors, or the sensors already built into HomeView, HomePod, and HomePod mini. Sensors are priced at $39.95.
  • Schneider Electric Thermostat ($199.95) — This thermostat offers the same features as the LG model, including support for Adaptive Temperature and compatibility with standalone temperature and humidity sensors. Sensors are priced at $39.95.

The video doorbell and cameras all work with HomeKit Secure Video to allow users to view live streams in the Home app, as well as recordings and AI activity summaries with an appropriate iCloud+ plan.

The Apple Home Collection will be available starting in December at apple.com/store, in the Apple Store app, and at Apple Store locations, with select accessories available starting early 2027.
