Apple has published a list of products that will be eligible for upcoming 2024 sales tax holidays in eight US states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

Sales tax holidays offer consumers the opportunity to purchase select Apple products (as well as select products from other companies, it’s not an Apple-only deal) without paying sales tax. Make sure to visit Apple’s website to determine the eligible products and price limits, as they vary from state to state. Apple says that while the tax savings may not appear during checkout, they will be reflected on the final receipt.

The tax-free holidays in the US run from July 19 through August 11, although the exact dates vary by state. While other US states are offering tax-free holidays, they are not currently listed on Apple’s website.

Depending on the state, eligible Apple products may include Macs, iPads, iPhones, and/or accessories.

Sales tax holiday discounts can be combined with Apple’s ongoing Back to School promotion. This promotion offers up to a $150 Apple gift card when students purchase an eligible Mac or iPad. Students also receive 20% off AppleCare+ plans, in addition to Apple’s standard educational discounts on select products.
