Apple has been diving deep into the world of original TV content for quite some time now, and the list of star-studded features the company plans to release continues to lengthen.

A Variety report posted today sheds light on another exciting Apple TV-series in the works, this one written by Tony Basgallop and produced by Shyamalan’s Blinding Edge Pictures.

At this point, the plot of the series is essentially a mystery. What we do know is that it will be a thriller, and 10 half-hour episodes will be ordered. And with M. Night Shyamalan’s fantastic track record in the motion picture industry, we can assume it’s going to be worth a watch.

Shyamalan is best known for his work in incredibly popular horror/thriller movie titles including  “Signs,” “Lady in the Water,” “The Sixth Sense,” “The Village,” and most recently “Split” starring James McAvoy.

This thriller appears to be the 11th Apple original TV series currently in development, according to MacRumors.

Apple will allegedly spend $4.2 billion on original TV series by 2022. Within that timeframe we can also expect a morning show drama starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, a reboot of Steven Spielberg’s Emmy Award-winning “Amazing Stories” from the 80s, a new crime drama starring Octavia Spencer, and a comedy featuring Bridesmaids‘ hilarious Kristen Wiig.
