Apple Maps Not Working? Service Outage Currently Affecting All Users

[Update: Apple has resolved the issue as of 10:05 AM. Apple Maps is now in working order and should function as expected.]

Apple Maps users might have been greeted to an infuriating surprise this morning.

If you summoned Siri to direct you to the nearest Starbucks, or the fastest route to the office, she might’ve responded in a manner you aren’t accustomed to:

“Sorry, I couldn’t find the place you’re looking for” or “Sorry, I don’t know where your office is.”

That’s because on Friday, June 15 Apple’s servers for navigation have been experiencing an unknown issue since at least 5:48 AM.

The problem seems to be affecting all Apple Maps users.
