Apple’s latest and greatest version of iOS — iOS 10 — is already shaping up to be quite the game changer, with developer and public beta builds already running on iPhones and iPads the world over. And while the Silicon Valley iPhone maker showed us a plethora of the super-awesome new features that are coming to iOS 10 at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) last month, as always, Apple has baked in a few extra goodies for us, which were not shown off on stage — but are still welcomed additions, nonetheless.

Check out these 3 hidden gems coming to your compatible iPhone or iPad when iOS 10 touches down for the masses later on this fall!

1.) Change Flashlight Intensity Via Control Center

Most of us know that we can use our iPhone’s camera flash as a handy flashlight — when trying to locate things in the dark, or illuminate the way before us. But, if you’ve ever used the feature before, you likely know how blinding that light beams from back of our handsets when activated; and maybe, just maybe, it’s a little bit too bright for your current needs?

Not to worry! iOS 10 will now let you control the intensity of your iPhone flashlight in just a few quick taps. Simply pull up the iOS Control Center on your iPhone 6s or 6s Plus (or ‘iPhone 7’, if you’re planning on picking one up), and then use 3D Touch to press-hold the fla/shlight icon — which will reveal “low, medium, and high” options for manipulating your flashlight’s luminescence.

2.) Continuous Music Playback — Even When the Camera is Rolling

Anyone who’s ever tried snapping a photo when their iPhone is playing music knows that, well, it’s just not possible. For whatever reason, Apple has by default made the Music and Camera apps incompatible of running dichotomously on iOS.

However, the good news is that once iOS 10 touches down, that unfortunate incompatibility will be no longer! So you’ll soon be able to snap that selfie, or priceless photo of your friends break-dancing, without actually having to put the party on pause.

3.) Unsubscribe From Mailing Lists Easier Than Ever Before

While Mail in iOS 10 hasn’t received quite the same dramatic overhaul as other apps, such as Photos for instance, Apple has however thrown in a few surprisingly useful features. One of those features in particular makes unsubscribing from those pesky email coupon clubs and lists even easier than ever before.

In iOS 10 Mail, you’ll no longer have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the email and rummage around in order to find the “Unsubscribe” button, because the Cupertino-company has included an all-new “Quick Unsubscribe” feature — by which you can easily Unsubscribe from emails at the top of the page, instead.
