These Are the Apple Products Apple Will Launch in 2025

Apple has been pretty busy recently. In just the last couple of months, the company has released a bunch of new product upgrades, and we couldn't be more excited to try them.
Apple decided to release a bunch of new products near the end of this year, including iPhones, AirPods, and Macs, which are always great for Apple fans.
However, Apple isn't done just yet. Even if the company doesn't launch anything new in the rest of 2024, it's already hard at work on many products we'll see next year.
However, before we start, keep in mind that we still don't know much, if anything, about these upcoming products. Not only that, but the things we do "know" come from rumors that might not be true. All this is to say that while we have a high degree of confidence that many of these products are coming in broad terms, nothing has been confirmed, and the specifics are much more open to debate. Take everything here with a grain of salt.
From a new budget iPhone to an entirely new Smart Home product, read on for just a few of the products Apple is reportedly working on for 2025.
A Brand New iPhone
This one is already a given. Apple launches new high-end iPhone lineups every fall, and there's no reason to believe 2025 will be any different.
That said, there are already rumors about what Apple might bring to the table next year.
While Apple will continue to launch four new iPhones near the end of the year, the iPhone 17 lineup won't have a "Plus" model. Instead, rumor has it that Apple is working on a slimmer iPhone that could be called the "iPhone 17 Air" or "iPhone 17 Slim."
As you can expect from the name, this iPhone is said to feature the thinnest body on an iPhone yet, possibly only 5mm thick. For comparison, the current iPhone 15 is 7.8mm thick, whereas the iPhone 15 Pro is 8.25mm thick, so this would substantially change the iPhone's design.
Additionally, this new iPhone is said to feature a new OLED display technology that will be thinner than the current OLED displays.
New Apple Watch Ultra 3

This year, Apple disappointed Apple Watch Ultra users by not introducing a new generation. Instead, it only introduced a new color to the 2022 Apple Watch Ultra 2.
Fortunately for fans of the bigger Apple Watch, Apple might release the 3rd generation Apple Watch Ultra in 2025.
Unfortunately, at the time of this writing, we have no news or rumors about what the Apple Watch Ultra might bring. We obviously expect new features and a design similar to that of the current generation. However, this is all speculation at this point.
We expect Apple to launch the new Apple Watch Ultra 3 during the fall, alongside the iPhone 17 lineup.
Apple Watch Series 11
Like the iPhone, we're pretty confident that Apple will unveil a brand new Apple Watch, as it has every year since 2014.
The Apple Watch Series 11 is expected to be launched in the fall of 2025 alongside the new iPhone 17 lineup.
However, at the time of this writing, there aren't any rumors about the new features this Watch might bring. Of course, we're expecting and hoping Apple will add other health features, like the blood glucose sensor that's supposedly been in the works for years. But we'll have to wait for more leaks in the next few months.
Apple Watch SE 3

Another Apple Watch model that we expect Apple to reveal in 2025 is the Apple Watch SE 3.
Apple's budget Apple Watch didn't see an upgrade this year; the current generation launched in the fall of 2022.
While we expected Apple to launch a new model this year, it seems Apple will wait until 2025. If accurate, we expect Apple to make the Apple Watch SE 3 even more environmentally friendly. The current model can already be carbon neutral, but Apple will probably improve it to be even better in this department.
Hopefully, the company will bring more health features over from the more expensive Apple Watch models
iPad 11
Apple finally introduced a new iPad mini this fall. This essentially refreshed the 2021 iPad mini 6 to put more power on the inside to support Apple Intelligence. The company also upgraded the iPad Air and the iPad Pro models earlier this year.
However, the original iPad hasn't received much love. If the rumors are true, that might change in 2025.
We don't expect Apple to make significant changes on the outside of the original iPad, so expect the same design. The most likely scenario is that Apple will bump the processor and the RAM so the base iPad can support Apple Intelligence.
If that's the case, we expect Apple will treat the full-sized iPad the same way it handled the current iPad mini. The newest iPad mini now comes with the A17 Pro chip—the same one as the iPhone 15 Pro models—and an increase in RAM as well. Some reports have suggested the 11th-generation iPad could get an M1 chip, which seems like a reasonable upgrade alongside the M2 iPad Air and M4 iPad Pro.
Last but not least, it's possible that Apple will add support for the Apple Pencil Pro, as they did with the iPad mini, although it seems more likely it will stick with the Apple Pencil (USB-C).
As for the release date, rumor has it that Apple will launch the new iPad near the beginning of 2025 alongside the new iPhone SE, which we'll discuss in a moment.
AirTag 2
Apple introduced its first-ever tracker in 2021, and the accessory hasn't been upgraded since.
However, that might change in 2025, as there are rumors that Apple might launch the second generation AirTag next year.
We don't know much about the new AirTag, but we expect Apple to improve the speaker's sound quality and maybe even introduce a new chip for better, more precise tracking.
While we don't expect Apple to change the design of the AirTag, we hope and expect Apple to at least introduce a keyring hole so users don't have to drill their trackers themselves.
MacBook Air, Mac Studio and Mac Pro
Apple refreshed several Mac models this fall, including the MacBook Pro, the iMac, and the Mac mini. However, we'll need to wait a few more months to see updates to the MacBook Air, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro.
Rumor has it that Apple will launch these three new Mac models sometime next year, with the MacBook Air rumored to be the first.
We expect Apple to launch the MacBook Air with an M4 chip around March 2025, the same time the company launched the M3 MacBook Air this year.
Moreover, the Mac Studio and Mac Pro may be announced in June at Apple's 2025 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Still, they may not be launched until later in the year, similar to how Apple launched the new Mac models in October of this year.
Like the other products on the list, it's still too soon to know all the details and new specs that these Macs will offer, but we're expecting all of these models to have various M4 chips inside.
A New HomePod
There have been rumors that Apple is working on a new Smart Home device that will evolve the HomePod. If the rumors are true, the company is working on the next HomePod, which will come with a built-in display similar to the Amazon Echo Show.
With that said, 2025 might still be too soon for this product. We don't know if Apple will launch the new HomePod next year, but there's still a possibility. Still, don't hold your breath just yet.
A New iPhone SE
Out of all the products that Apple is supposedly working on right now, the iPhone SE 4 is the one people are most excited about. Why? Because Apple is expected to completely revamp its budget-friendly iPhone and make it the best model yet.
For starters, it is rumored that Apple will completely change its design. This means that the new iPhone SE won't come with Touch ID and will instead support Face ID.
According to the rumors, the new iPhone SE will look like the iPhone 14, which would be a welcome change considering Apple likes to use old hardware for its least expensive iPhone.
The iPhone SE will continue to have a single camera on the back, but Apple might add the 48MP camera from the iPhone 15. The same goes for the front-facing camera, which is rumored to be the same 12MP one that the iPhone 15 comes with.
Last but not least, the internals. Apple is rumored to feature at least the A17 Pro chip on the iPhone SE 4 and increased the RAM to 8GB. These changes will guarantee that the iPhone SE supports Apple Intelligence and give it a long-lasting value so users don't have to upgrade for a few more years.
