2020 Isn’t Over, Here’s Everything We Still Want to See from Apple This Year

Apple has had a very productive 2020. During the year, the company has refreshed a bunch of devices, new software updates and future products to look forward to. Take this year's WWDC, for instance. We got a look at tons of new things coming to the iPhone and iPad, Mac computers, and even the Apple Watch. A lot of new features are coming that we're really excited about.
Still, when it comes to Apple, we're always hungry for more. And there are many products that we're still waiting for Apple to announce. There are still many refreshes and new devices that should be coming soon, at least according to the rumors. We're looking forward to what Apple has already announced, but continue reading to browse 7 things we still want to see from Apple.
iPhone SE Plus
Apple surprised us this year with a second-generation iPhone SE. After almost five years, this was Apple's attempt to re-enter a cheaper market. Needless to say, it was very well-received. Having the specs of an iPhone 11 at almost half the price makes the iPhone SE probably the best budget phone right now.
However, it seems Apple will continue to work on budget iPhones in the near future. According to several rumors, we'll see another iPhone SE with a bigger body and slightly better specs.
There has been a lot of discussion about what the iPhone SE Plus will look like, and there's even hope that this is the first iPhone with an almost bezeless display, however you can expect it to look like the iPhone 8 Plus. We should presume this iPhone to come this year or in the first quarter of 2021.
AirTags
Even if it doesn't happen that often, Apple made the mistake of leaking its own product on one of its own videos. Ever since that moment, we've been waiting for the AirTags' official announcement.
Apple's AirTags will be a tracking device similar to Tile. It will have a bunch of features, such as an augmented reality feature, taking advantage of Apple's LiDAR sensor, that'll show you a balloon where your devices are located.
We still don't know how good these AirTags will be, but the competition is already scared, even before an official announcement.
AirPods Studio
Formerly known as AirPods Max, the AirPods Studio headphones were first seen thanks to an iOS 14 leak. After that, a bunch of new leaks and rumors came out, including a possible 2020 release date.
The AirPods Studio would be the first over-ear headphone Apple introduces to the AirPod lineup. The AirPods Studio were supposed to be announced at the WWDC, but just like the iMac, that didn't happen.
According to most rumors, the AirPods Studio should have the best sound quality in the AirPods lineup, as well as a better Noise-cancelling feature. Also, there's a cool new ear sensor that would let you use AirPods Studio backwards.
Of course, this means this set of AirPods will be the most expensive in the lineup. The AirPods Studio's price should be around the $350 mark.
A New iMac
We've needed an iMac refresh for quite a while now. Since Apple decided to update so many products this year, like the iPad Pro and even the iPhone SE, hoping to get a new iMac was a no brainer.
Many rumors pointed to Apple unveiling the 2020 iMac during this year's WWDC. However, as you probably already know, that didn't happen.
According to different leaks, and what we've seen this year, we should expect a new iMac that looks exactly like previous models, with a better processor, and a more storage for the base model. There's even a possibility that the next iMac will be even better for gaming.
There's a lot of hope for the next iMac, so we'll just have to wait for an official announcement.
Next-Generation AirPods
Despite how popular they once were, the regular AirPods have been overshadowed by the AirPods Pro for quite a while now. And there are many reasons for that. With better sound quality and an Active Noise-Cancelling feature, the AirPods Pro is a better option for anyone willing to spend the extra money.
That doesn't mean the AirPods aren't popular. They still remain one of Apple's best selling products. However, the AirPods lineup is feeling a bit outdated compared to the Pro version, or even the competitors' earbuds.
Since 2019, we've been hearing rumors about a new pair of AirPods, with better sound quality, and even water resistance.
Now, a year later, we still don't know when the new AirPods are coming. There's still hope we see them this year, although there are other AirPods that we're more excited about.
AirPods Pro Lite
Just like with the regular AirPods, we've heard about a lite version of the AirPods Pro for quite some time now.
These AirPods Pro Lite would be more affordable than the regular AirPods Pro. However, there's a catch. As you would expect, Apple would get rid of Noise Cancellation and wouldn't come with the same sound quality.
It's also worth mentioning that some rumors say these cheaper AirPods would just be a new Beats product. Still, it would be a better, cheaper option for most people.
Apple Glass
Probably the most anticipated Apple product to many is the Apple Glass. This product represents Apple's biggest jump into augmented reality.
We've been hearing and talking about the Apple Glass for what seems like forever, this year was the first time we actually got to know more information about the device.
Apple Glass will be a new pair of glasses that'll work with your iPhone to give you information through the lenses. You'd control it with gestures, either on the frame or in front of the device.
