A little known fact, every year Zombie Awareness Month takes place between May 1st and May 31st. Zombie enthusiasts and zombie combatants come out celebrate the infamous living dead.
In case you were unaware, Zombie Awareness Month is a campaign to bring awareness about zombies and the possibility of a future zombie apocalypse. The campaign was introduced and is predominantly funded by The Zombie Research Society (ZRS.)
Founded in 2007, The ZRS is an organization dedicated to the historic, cultural, and scientific study of the living dead. According to the ZRS, the main objective of Zombie Awareness Month is to educate people about causes, prevention, and preparation for a supposed future zombie pandemic.
While we can’t be certain a zombie apocalypse is actually possible, Zombie Awareness Month is still a fun “cause” to take part of. Whether you are interested in fighting the zombies or you actually love them, below are the top ten items you need to take part in Zombie Awareness Month.
