14-inch MacBook Pro
Apple added not one but two MacBook Pro models to its notebook lineup. The 14-inch MacBook Pro is very similar to the 16-inch model in almost every way. It sports a new mini-LED Liquid Retina Pro XDR display and a minimal 3.5mm bezel. Apple added a notch to its MacBook, a necessary addition that houses the laptop’s 1080P FaceTime HD camera. On the sides are a headphone jack, several Thunderbolt ports, a MagSafe connection, an SD card slot, and an HDMI port.
Just like the 16-inch MacBook Pro, the 14-inch can be configured with either the new M1 Pro or the M1 Max processor, RAM up to 64GB, and storage from 512GB to a whopping 8TB. Also missing is the Touch Bar which has been replaced with a row of function keys.
The based 14-inch MacBook Pro starts at $1,999 with the M1 Pro processors, 16GB of memory, and a 512 GB SSD. A maxed-out version with the M1 Max processor, 64GB of memory, and an 8TB SSD retails for $5,899.
